Since 2000, AfA Conferences have been co-hosted every two years by AfA member organizations. The AfA conference is Asia's longest-running animal advocacy gathering. 2022 Conference Agenda

The LEAP conference, sponsored by the Wellcome Trust Our Planet Our Health initiative, will bring together researchers working on multiple aspects of meat and dairy production and consumption to consider its effects on population health, the economy, society and the environment, and aims to build a community of researchers in this field to share evidence and tools to inform action. MAI was established to improve the status of nonhuman animals and alleviate nonhuman animal exploitation by facilitating research and discourse among scholars, students, artists, activists, advocates (and members of the general population) in the transdisciplinary field of animal studies. MAI’s main objectives are to further the development of nonhuman animal studies internationally and to help establish legal and moral protections for nonhuman animals.

The Wild Animal Welfare Committee (WAWC) is delighted to announce its latest event – Translating wildlife welfare into practice: wildlife management in the 21st century – on Thursday 16 May 2024.  In this full-day online conference, delegates will hear distinguished speakers from around the world discuss how and why wild animal welfare can be integrated into wider contexts, such as land management and conservation projects.

This two-day event will explore the practical applications of wildlife fertility control in Europe.
